Busy busy day today!
In the morning i attended the studying and learning session @ my campus. It's was packed! there were barely enought tables and chairs for everyone. weird, because i booked this session through the phone. they should have know the numbers and be well prepared. i guess some students just walked in and never booked for a session at all.
Basically this briefing is just giving us some basic information about Uni envioronment. How to do time management and stratgies on handling assignments and work. If we face problems, there's a teaching and support learning services that can assist us. QUT is really good in taking care of the students! =)

Met Raymond for lunch today. He's from the church i went to last sunday. He's a really nice guy from Hong Kong and currently studying for his Masters now. He's a nurse. haha
His friend Issac and Judith joined us for lunch too. We went to the Fortitude Valley, usually the locals just called it the Valley. Chinatown is situate there. We went to this small cafe for chinese food. It's not bad, i had stirred fried beef with bitter gourd and rice set. It comes with mushroom soup and a drink. Costs only $9.00, so it's not bad. Quite a huge serving too.
I tried to talk to them in cantonese cause they are all from Hong Kong. But too bad my command of cantonese is quite limited. =P

When i reached home, i realized that Shaw * the guy i met last friday with his parents*. Has moved in! yeah..really happy to have another fellow S'porean under one roof. yEah..talked about alot of stuff with him. we had dinner together and i just cooked for the both of us.
A simple meal of fried rice. hehe..it was quite good =)
I showed him my photos on my laptop to Shawn and Tamara. Really enjoyed myself today!
