Went to church this morning! yeah and met up with Chole
The church is at UQ (University Of Queensland), it's name is Hope Brisbane Christian Church.
Their service is held in one of the lecture theaters.
Had quite an adventure trying to get there in the morning. Cause the Uni is in another suburb called Saint Lucia. i had to try to find out which bus to take. Guess wat when i got on the bus from Kelvin Grove to the city. I realized that i only had a $50 dollar note and no coins! haha,
got a dirty look from the bus driver. oh well, resolved it by changing smaller notes with someone on the bus. Phew!

when i reached the city, i walked to Roma Street. That's where the guide say the buses, 411 and 412 (which goes direct to UQ) will be. 1/2 way there chole called me and asked me where am i.
i told her i'm on my way..haha will be late. And guess what, the bus stop is at Adelaide street which is nearer and like behind me. Argh! When i got to the bus stop, the bus is gone. Great, coz it's sunday and the waiting time for buses is extended. But luckly i didn't have to wait long, the bus came quite quickly.

Finally met up with Chole and her friend Cirong and we went in. We missed the Praise and worship. Darn!
But at least we din missed the sermon, which is about committment to God. Hmm..that got me thinking. The service is slighty different from my church in S'pore. Cause when it's time to read the Bible, everyone stands up to honour God's word. Cool!
After the service, the church people invited us for a simple lunch of sandwiches. Everyone is really friendly. They just intro themselves and i'm lost at the amount of names i had to remember. haha

Chole and Cirong wanted to look at the prospective houses after lunch. So i just accompanied them. It just rained and the weather was so humid! Damn hot! phew...made me really sleepy
And the places the wanna view was pretty far from their school at UQ.
After the house viewing we went to town to walk around and buy some stuff from Coles at Mayer Centre. i got some sauces like oyster and black bean sauce. yEah!

Haiz...2 more days to V-Day. I miss you Carol *huggz*
